Notaria Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Notaria ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Notaria mobile application and any related services, content, and websites we make available (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Effective Date: March 15, 2026

Notaria is an offline-first reading, note-taking, OCR, transcription, recall, and quiz product. The Service includes local storage, on-device OCR and transcription, book lookup integrations, quizzes, recall, exports, and a one-time Premium purchase. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

Notaria does not require a traditional account. Your library content lives on your device; the Premium purchase may be associated with an identifier such as an Adapty profile ID. "User Content" means the notes, quotes, scans, recordings, and other content you create in the app. You retain ownership of your User Content, and it stays on your device. Because your content is not uploaded to us, we do not claim any license over it beyond processing the limited data you explicitly request (such as a book lookup query).

You agree that you will:

• Provide only lawful content and maintain necessary rights and consents
• Obtain any legally required consent before storing another person's personal data
• Not create unlawful, infringing, or abusive content
• Not reverse engineer the Service or attempt to bypass purchase or entitlement checks
• Not use the Service to build a competing product

A. On-device processing: Page scanning and voice transcription run entirely on your device. Your notes, quotes, scans, and transcripts are not sent to us or to any third-party service. B. Connectivity: The app needs a connection only to look up book metadata and to download an on-device speech model the first time you transcribe. C. Not professional advice: The Service is a personal knowledge-management tool and does not constitute legal, medical, or financial advice.

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play — it is not a subscription. There are no credits, usage caps, or recurring charges. Purchases are subject to the applicable app store's terms, and refunds are handled by that store. You can restore your Premium purchase after a reinstall or device change.

Notaria stores your content locally on your device. You are responsible for your device security and your own backups. We are not liable for loss of local data. The Service integrates with third-party providers (Adapty for purchases, Mixpanel for anonymous analytics, and book metadata providers such as Open Library and Google Books). We are not responsible for their downtime or independent privacy practices.

The Service (software, design, branding) is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback for any purpose.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR THAT YOUR DATA WILL NEVER BE LOST. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DATA LOSS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS OR $100.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or create risks/abuse. You agree to indemnify and hold Notaria harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Exclusive venue for disputes will be the courts of Turkey. We may modify these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Contact: trackit.tr@gmail.com
